BEHIND THE ARTWORKS

Online Deception become popular after COVID-19

Today, technology has been and continues to develop rapidly, and people are gradually keeping pace with current technological trends. Alongside the benefits that technology brings to humans, it has also become a tool for scammers to exploit for various purposes, such as seizing money, stealing information, or even endangering lives.

Currently, forms of fraud are becoming increasingly sophisticated, making it harder to detect scams. This is especially true with the recent emergence of deepfake technology — which uses another person’s face and maps it onto the user’s movements.
In addition, scammers can use emails, text messages, or even phone calls to impersonate companies, fake friends, or high-ranking officials in order to gain victims’ trust and carry out fraud.

They may exploit personal information through citizen ID cards, leaked data on social networks, or phone syntax to serve their fraudulent schemes.
Therefore, raising awareness and vigilance among individuals and organizations in preventing online fraud is extremely necessary.

Enhance Awareness

Educate individuals and organizations about common fraud tactics, including phishing, impersonation, and deepfake scams.

Strengthen Information Security

Protect personal data by safeguarding IDs, social media accounts, and communication channels from leaks and misuse.

Improve Vigilance

Encourage people to verify identities, question suspicious messages or calls, and remain cautious when sharing sensitive information online.

How did I deliver this problem to the art?

F2F rivals

Featuring a real human and a hacker behind a phone, the two opposing characters create the necessary metaphor.

Suitable color

Blue-purple symbolizes technology, which is also a color palette I like to combine with a sensitive red to create a sense of warning.
